Trainer Certification
The NETA, NCCA accredited Certified Personal Trainer Certification
is designed for trainers who wish to instruct clients individually or in small
groups. Becoming NETA certified can be an important stride in becoming
recognized as a competent fitness professional. NETA certified personal trainers
learn how to safely challenge and motivate clients to reach their fitness goals.
The curriculum and exams are continuously updated to stay on the cutting edge
of the fitness industry. Topics include:

Science - Health & Fitness Assessments
- Exercise Programming for Healthy Adults
- Exposure to Cardiovascular & Strength Training Equipment
- Dynamics of Communication & Leadership Skills
Attaining the NETA NCCA accredited, Personal Trainer Certification demonstrates
to potential employers your commitment to the profession.
NETA offers 2 options to become certified:
- Attend a 2-day exam preparation workshop and receive 14 hours of lecture,
demonstrations and practical hands-on applications. Workshop participants gain
the technical knowledge and leadership skills needed to implement effective, motivational
and safe exercise programming for clients.
- Utilize the “Test Only” option and challenge the exam at over
500 Comira
Testing Centers all across the US.
NETA provides extensive learning and exam preparation materials to make
learning efficient, effective and enjoyable.
**Note NETA does not require one to attend a workshop or to purchase NETA
study materials to be eligible to take the Personal Trainer Certification exam.
Exam only options are available at Comira Testing Centers with over 500 locations
across the US.
